  • Iphone 4 Data Recovery

I once recovered data for an iPhone 4 that was stuck on apple logo or was boot looping using a rooting method. I had posted it on PBRS for later reference, but I can't seem to find my post. I forgot the method. Can you lead me in the right direction again. I remember I used Cyberduck and rooted in with password Alpine.

I always forget it as well, and google "msftguy" to find it. If the method doesn't work--i.e. The drive doesn't mount then you can do chip off.

We did once see a 3GS that was encrypted TSOP chip so there must have been a pilot program, so your first goal is still to get it to boot, or a non-invasive method like the msftguy exploit to access the data on device, but chip off is an option for the early phones
